Just a simple request to increase radial menu for quick slots, because now we have too many items/services/mementos to slot

No thanks, it would be imbalanced.

That said, a second radial for non-combat related things with infinite slots would be fine.

What are you using the 8 slots for now? If you have 8 consumables you switch to mid- fight then... I salute you

if your on PC, you could use something like greyminds quickslot bar (dont remember if that is exact name)

you could configure presets with specific items for your quickslot and bind keys to switch preset or which item is set without holding Q to pull up the "radial" menu the quickslot already uses

i stopped using it because i just wasnt using this functionality much, but it was pretty good for what it did

I could use at least 4 more slots to cover every situation and open my options considerably but here ya go starting at the top...

    1. Immovability
    2. Detection
    3. Ballista (Siege doors)
    4. Meatbag (Seige defenders on walls)
    5. Door repair
    6. Wall repair
    7. Lancer (Defend keeps)
    8. Swap slot - Forward camp, Ram, siege repair, flaming oil, or Cold Stone weapon among other choices

I tried Greyminds but was very unhappy about it clearing slots if you used up everything in it, then having to go back in to re-assign it. I much prefer the default radial which keeps a placeholder and refilling what was in a slot makes it instantly available again. Not sure if he changed the way that works yet, but it was super annoying as you can't always predict when you may run out and since siege doesn't stack... I am not going to overbuy and burn up my inventory or bank when I am not PVPing.

I did find another addon that simply allows me to hotkey the slots though, which IS super handy.

Ahh okay, yeah I didn't consider PvP, there are way too many siege consumables.

But would having additional slots for repair kits etc. make it imbalanced?

Like I said, a separate radial for non-combat related items would be awesome. Why ZOS made a single radial to be shared between combat and roleplay confuses me to start with. From a combat perspective, as much as I would love to have every item I frequently use always available, I can see how having to make choices levels the playing field. Can't tell you how many times I have heard "Does anyone have a Ram slotted?!?!?" after we are already in combat.

From a roleplay perspective with the hundreds(thousands?) of outfits, mementos & emotes available, the existing radial is sourly lacking and could use some serious help.

Could the current number be related to using a controller? Up, Up+Right, Right, Down+Right, Down, Down+Left, Left, Up+Left? If so, I'm not sure how they'd reprogram it to add more slots, unless maybe Right took you clockwise around the wheel's slots, and Left took you counterclockwise, or something like that.

They could literally just add a second button press to add another layer of depth to the radial. Since you're locked into the radial and it overrides every other command while it's up, you could just press one of the bumpers to open a deeper slottable menu.

At least allow us to modify existing setup while in "combat", especially imaginary combat that you are endlessly stuck in.

You can still use any potion or any food from your inventory whenever you like, so why not make it available in quickslot whenever you like?

OR at the very least allow use of sieges/AvA repair kits from inventory screen as well, so you don't have to wait two hours until you can repair a wall, because there is one nightbalde stealthed somewhere near keep.

Both consoles use one of the thumb sticks to select items from the quickslot menu, just like PC players using the mouse and the thumb stick is analogue, it's not limited to just 8 directions. So they could add as many options as they like, it's just that with too many it could get a bit fiddly to select the right one because they'd be very close together (and the icons would need to be smaller).

But they could probably go up to 10 or 12 options without causing problems, and if they wanted to offer more than that they could give different wheels to switch between.

I especially like the idea of having 1 for combat stuff and one for cosmetic options like costumes, pets and emotes. That would remove any balance concerns while giving players who use quick slots for a lot of different things more options.

yes I know we(PC user) can use addons, but it would be better to have native implementation, and after all what about our console brothers and sisters???

More slots on the radial menus would be nice. I think 4 more designated slots would be nice. But the ability to add the preferred number of slots would be even better

You know, the radial dial doesn't have to be a circle. If they simply made it into rows they could add a bunch of new slots that could be scrolled through or clicked directly on without making it impossible to see them. If they let players decide how many rows and how many slots per row, I think that would make sense.

That said, they still shouldn't expand the number of slots that can be used for combat related stuff, so limit the first 8 slots to how they are now, and all additional slots can only be used for RP stuff, if they don't want to make separate quick slots altogether.
