Thank you for putting this together, that's a really neat analysis. It's a bit disappointing to a) realize that if someone didn't miss a single endeavour for 200 days, they still can't get a radiant apex, and b) see the gains descreasing over time.

I haven't missed one yet and still am a few thousand away from a radiant. It's just been a joke seeing the past radiants with seal costs, and no literal way to earn them before they leave the store.

I’m nitpicking and I hate to nitpick as it’s an excellent breakdown, but my inner Justiciar won’t leave me alone until I point out what looks like a copy-paste error under ‘Endeavor Categories’:
Hunting (Kill <Mobs, with poisons, with class abilities, with class abilities>

Pretty sure one of those ‘with class abilities’ should be ‘with weapon abilities’.

Yep. Endeavour was just put into game to tell everyone " her look we are not all about gambling over crates we also let players acquire mounts and stuff through simply playing the game". But then forgot to mention the enormous grind that comes attached with it. You have to be really dedicated to take any benefit from this system. Miss few days and that's it.

Eh, I've got some nice stuff already - but then, I think the radiant apex mounts are mostly pretty awful, so I don't care about "can't get with SOE".

Yeah, not caring about 98% of the top tiers (which has also helped me with not having Crate issues) makes me pretty satisfied so far with Endeavors. I've gotten several things in the 1k-4k range, so it's been relatively good for me. /shrug

MMOs are a grind in general. I've played one MMO game where players were grinding out a end game raid(trial) for one specific piece of loot. Some players never got that loot after 200+ runs and spent hundreds of hours on trying for that one piece. That raid took around 3 hours to beat yet people still grinded that out for a in game item that eventually was replaced by another piece of gear about a year later.

I don't mind grinding out for Endeavor to get items that are in the crown crates. I honestly don't care about the mounts like other do as don't like many of the ones that have come through the crates. Even so, getting the weekly and daily endeavors aren't hard and don't take much time. I got all three daily this morning in about 15 minutes and nearly completed the weekly as well. So about a half hour of time to get them each day isn't much.

I don't particularly care about radiant mounts, so I've been spending my Seals as soon as I get 3600 of them. I just bought my 4th (IIRC) item the other day, which jives with the 14,475 total mentioned on that page. I'm happy with Endeavors so far. :)

it is disappointing to see the downward trend (the avg daily endeavor lately only awarding 10 or 15 seals)

my plan is to get to at least 16000 as a base so if there is 1 single radiant apex mount i actually do want (which right now would only be the ebon dwarven bandaari peddler spider) then i could get it

anything i earn after that amount ill probably actually spend on cheaper crate items as i see them (which generally is few and far between)

I haven't spent any of my seals yet, but that's partially because there hasn't been anything available I like enough to get it. I can see myself being less picky over time, but at the moment there's several things from past crates I'd like to get so I'm saving my seals for them.

Somewhat annoyingly the one radiant apex mount I like (the purple psijic horse) is coming back soon and I'm probably not going to have enough seals because I've missed some days and weeks and I'm going to miss some more this month.

It's definitely not an ideal system, but it's better than nothing. It means a lot of items which previously were not even worth looking at are now things I can consider getting, and since I like some of them that's an improvement. At one point I worked out it would cost about 50k seals to get all the things I want from past crates, so it will take a while but I'm not in a rush.

But at least the weekly is back up to 225-250, from 160-180.

With the only crown crate thing I really want coming back in the psijic crates this month, I really really really hope I can hit 16000 seals before the crates go away. I have the max amount currently as of 3 Jan, 14730. If I go by the average 475 per week, I will hit 16000 by the last week of january. Thanks for the info Bowd!!

Interesting that it's mostly settled down to a "normal" level, though low compared to where it started our.

In that sense, it reminds me of the Daily Login Rewards, which started out with a number of free crates and good items, and have since standardized down to a regular set of consumables and a good reward on day 21.

Whenever they debut new systems, they always make them a little bit better to entice people to use them. I think we have probably settled into the new normal by now.

Hey BowD quick question which category was the light purple on the pie chart for weeklies? It seemed like Olive was antiquities and dark purple was use/consume but what was light purple?
