Is there any way to increase View Distance beyond what is available in the in-game settings?

You can remove the annoying fog with Daybreak mod.

(I suggest using 'Simple' DoF, distant terrain is very low quality by design so slight blur introduced by this setting helps)

Was actually wondering whether it's possible to do that in the UserSettings file; just like removing blurry textures with higher MIP LOAD SKIP LEVELS setting.
