Twitch linking - error 500

unsure if this is for bugs or general.

I have a twitch account I'm trying to link to get the twitch crates. When I link from my account, I get error 500. In my twitch is shows linked. I have yet to recieve a crate. I have disconnected the link on twitch, logged out of both, cleared cache and cookies and tried in a private browser with no luck. I still get the same behaviour. Error 500 on the ESO site and account then shows as linked in twitch but not in my ESO account page. Does anyone know how to fix this, as error 500 is rather generic.

I have the same issue - main browser Firefox. I have to use the built-in Windows Edge browser to solve the problem.
