Hi guys, got a doozy.

A few years back, on my "second" account, I started a character with the plan to level her up entirely in Cold Harbor. Over the years, I haven't played her much, in fact she is currently 16th level. A few days ago, I went on her account, figuring "it's time to get moving".

I can't. She can't progress. There is no Lyris, no Caldwell, no "eyes" to kill, can't go "back" into the initial tutorial area, can't use the door/pick the lock to the Prophet's area. I can't jump to anyone else (guild or friend). Use of "unstuck" just bumps me right back to the same place.

When I look at my quest journal, there is only one, "talk to the hooded figure" and - you guessed it - he's in Tamriel and I can't get there.

Sent in a ticket a few days ago and it dissapeared into the aether - never heard ANYTHING, not even an automated reply, which is pretty odd. So I started another ticket, and thought "well there are probably other weird events" so thought I'd come here and share. Including sharing that I really truly did send a request for help/ticket.

Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    No cool story to add, but I also have a character in Wailing Prison that has been there for a long time, but I am not interested in getting him out, so I leave him in peace. :smile:

    Well I was looking for a reply on the wrong account, so that part of the delay is on me.

    Here is the reply:

    Most issues with characters are resolved by using the troubleshooting steps listed below. If you are still having trouble with your character after following these steps, please reply back with more detail about what is going on (including the name of the affected character) and we will be happy to investigate further!

    If you're experiencing a problem with your character or something you're interacting with in-game, most in-game issues are resolved by logging out for 15 minutes and logging back in. This will load you into a new game instance and refresh your surroundings. Please make sure you’ve attempted this first!
    If your character is ever stuck, use the Unstuck Tool, which will send your character back to the closest safe point. You can do this on PC/Mac by typing/stuck in chat, or on consoles by going to the “Help” menu and selecting “Get Me Unstuck”.
    You can also get your character unstuck by using the "Travel to Player" feature in your Friends, Guild, or Party list. Right-click on the name and select "Travel to Player" to take advantage of this feature."

    Try replying back to that email, reiterating your actual problem. Most bug reports get a first reply like that one, but usually I get a person to read it with the reply.

    I did, now I'm waiting on the reply...I would say on average (for me) it's taken 3 "reply to replies' to get an actual response
