A pitch for Arena Weapons.

Since we have had all skills in weapon lines have there own arena weapons I would like to pitch an idea for Arena Weapons that affected the Ultimate skills as it the only ones not done yet. Here is my idea:

Perfected Raging Storm:
Adds 657 Critical Chance
Your Elemental Storm gains new effects depending on the selected morph.
Elemental Rage: Cost is increased by 50 but it’s duration is increased by 5 seconds.
Eye of the Storm: Cost is increased by 100 but casting it will also cause your class defensive ultimate to be cast. Your class defensive ultimate must be slotted on your other skill bar for this affect to occur and it will only deal 50% of its normal damage.

Perfected Berserkers Wrath:
Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
Dealing damage with Berserker Strike grants you Berserkers Wrath for 2 seconds allowing you to cast it again once for free.

Perfected Hunters Rush:
Adds 657 Critical Chance
After channeling Rapid Fire, your Light Attacks gain 100% extra attack speed for 5 seconds.

Perfected Slice and Dice:
Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
Lacerate gains 100% Critical Chance and cannot be purged.

Perfected Lethal Wall:
Adds 1487 Armor
Shield Wall’s duration is increased by 100% and you reflect 30% of all incoming damage to all enemies within 6 meters while Shield Wall is active.

Perfected Everlasting Light:
Adds 129 Magicka and Stamina Recovery
Panacea’s cost is increased by 100, but it will affect up to 4 allies in your group prioritising players.

    If they alter ultimates and make them stronger without any negative effects there will be no reason to ever pick the other weapons over these.

    I'm definitely for change in every game but in this case I honestly think i'd be better to leave ultimates out of the arena weapon pool or at least make sure they have some kind of downside (or create a new weapon skill line to allow for more ability altering weapons) 🙂

    @Aardappelboom Not so sure about that. Remember that while no ultimate is up, the weapons will have no value.

    Agree with that. Ultimate arena weapon would destroy pvp far more than Dark Convergence.

    I would rather see boost to passives or general stats. Asylum Bow is great example, because all bow skills can benefit from it. Another examples: BRP dual that boost all dmg in close range, Executioner 2h giving more Ultimate and of course Vateshran, that improve weapon dmg & gives powerful heavy attack.

    So imho they should go in this direction.
