i don;t know, the parts that are usually black, were peach colored. there were images superimposed onto the backgrounds. one of them was the elven hero in the upper left corner of the page. tabs and sections were re-arranged.
maybe my browser had a stroke, but it actually looked nice.

Oh.... yeah, that was something that was "current" about 3 years ago. It shows up for some people once in a while when the servers have hiccups.
The forum pretty badly needs an update. It’s been years since they changed this vanilla platform. At least give us a dark mode!

A bar where you drink up and fall down?SilverBride wrote: »What is an up & down top bar?
It's a black bar at the top of the page, which only shows either when you scroll up/down or when you're at the top of the page, and contains links named "Categories", "Dev Tracker", etc.SilverBride wrote: »

It is always there regardless of where I am on the page.
On my browser (Vivaldi) on my home desktop PC, there's a black bar that's always visible, and contains a few menu items and the title "The Elder Scrolls (TM) Online". Then there's the other black bar below it that I already mentioned, which is only visible under certain conditions.SilverBride wrote: »It's a black bar at the top of the page, which only shows either when you scroll up/down or when you're at the top of the page, and contains links named "Categories", "Dev Tracker", etc.SilverBride wrote: »

I usually use my phone for the forums, using desktop mode. On my phone this is a green bar that is only at the top of the page. If I scroll down the page it disappears from sight because it's only at the top of the page.
So I tested this on my PC and this is a black bar that is always at the top of every page. Even if I scroll down the page this bar stays there at the top because it seems to have its own separate section that never moves, but the page below it scrolls up and down separately.
I don't know what the difference is. I had never noticed it before.

Might I suppost Dark Reader while you wait? It has most of the modern and most used browsers covered so far as addons go.Sylvermynx wrote: »The forum pretty badly needs an update. It’s been years since they changed this vanilla platform. At least give us a dark mode!
Yes, that is the one thing I'd prefer - a dark version. I keep checking for a Stylish dark version for this forum, but so far nothing, and I'm not really into messing with all that myself any more....
