What counts as a group boss?

For one of the weekly endeavours - kill 20 group bosses.

I've killed a public dungeon group boss, and I've killed a world boss. Neither counted towards this endeavour.

glitched on you maybe,no clue, but group bosses are the world bosses, shown on the map with the skull and cross bones

They really should consider using terminology that the players understand, because "Group Boss" causes confusion every time. Logically players see a "Group Boss" not only as World Bosses, but public dungeon, dungeon and trial bosses, too.

@ZOS_Kevin is there any chance they will make this more clear in the future?

-Group dungeon bosses don't count.

Silly me for thinking they'd be considered group bosses.

World bosses. Just soloed 3 in Deshaan and all counted.

What's wild to me is this how players use to refer to world bosses.

I don't know how or when they became world bosses, but I never knew they were even also called group bosses until endeavors.

However even ZOS is not consistent on how they term them, for example this is the eso support page about not getting loot from them.

So yeah, apparently even in help pages and the like they use the term World Boss and Group Boss interchangeably.

They should just modify the endeavor to say complete a Group Boss (World Boss), and on the tip page explain that World Bosses (Also known as Group Boss) is needed to be killed.
