Curated loot not working in Hew's Bane?

Hew's Bane set drops are a bit different and it appears the curated loot system can't handle it correctly. Or I'm missing something (which is entirely possible).

There are only two sets, Bahara's Curse and Sylvarra's Scales, but each can drop in light, medium, and heavy. I currently have 2 of the 6 possible belts collected: Sash of Bahara's Curse and Belt of Sylvarra's Scales. I killed a delve boss and it first gave me the Sash of Bahara's Curse and then gave me the Belt of Sylvarra's Scales. In fact, it appears the system is doing the OPPOSITE of what it's supposed to do and only giving me the 2 items I already have versus the 4 I need.

Just me or does the odd loot of Hew's Bane not play nice with the new loot system?

EDITED: Third drop: Belt of Sylvarra's Scales. It's working perfectly opposite of how it's supposed to. LOL

From what I understand, the "off-weight" pieces in Hew's Bane can only come from the Heist rewards. So you are going to get the "official" weight from overland, but the other two you'll get from heists, and those containers are not curated.

I've been doing Heists daily since the sticker book came out and I'm still missing a couple of pieces.

Exactly this. The curation did not change the loot drops of bosses. Hews Bane bosses still drop only the same items they dropped prior to the curation. And they only dropped 1 weight of items.

AH! That makes perfect sense. I was actually trying to farm the easy pieces (belts and boots) in delves to increase my chance of getting the off-weight pieces in heists.

I think the quest reward coffers can also give off weight items, but as those are limited heist rewards are the way to go if you really want those items.

On top of that, Coffers are usually not curated so you probably aren't helping your RNG in the future.

Yup. The coffers are definitely not curated. I just pulled a Bow of Sylvarra's Scales from a heist coffer and already had it collected.

I'm guessing the Hew's Bane issues were just a mistake or oversight when they launched this system. Since the only way to get around 44 of the 72 items are via a daily loot system that's not curated.

I think I'll pass on Hew's Bane. LOL

If ZOS refuses to curate Heist rewards, they should change the loot table for Heist rewards. At least give us a random piece of Bahraha/Syvarra in Heist rewards that are not obtainable in the rest of Hew's Bane. It is so frustrating to go through the hassle of a once-daily Heist just to get my 50th drop of a piece that you can get from a delve.

In other words, Heist coffer should only have medium/heavy Bahraha or light/heavy Syvarra. That is still an uncurated collection of 28 items and will take hundreds of Heists to fill out. But the current Heist coffer is an absolutely ridiculous 72 uncurated items!

I really wish they would change this. I just finished my 6th day of a daily heist and I keep getting known items. I have 25 items left for my Hews Bane sticker book. This is going to be brutal. Are the heist really the only way to get the off-set drops?

Need a Thieves/Brotherhood event with double drops for heists:sacraments at some point to make this a little more palatable.

This an currated loot is only from bosses from delve to trials. Not chests, quest rewards, boxes or random mobs.
