Can't Use Armory - What Am I Missing

So, I go to use my armory table for the first time and there is no option to create the build loadout. It has all empty slots for everything and I wonder will the "save build" feature save my current build into the armory or am I saving a blank page and wasting a slot. Feel like I'm missing something
Every single armory guide talks about the armory but not a single guide on the specifics of how to actually make the build via a walkthrough.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, please & thx

✭✭✭✭✭When you first open it both slots are blank.
If you want to save what you have currently you would save over one of the blank spots.
Then load the other blank spot to reset your character.
Then respec how you want and then save the new build into the second slot. Or save in the first slot if you want to erase the original build.1 -

✭✭If you're a wolf or vamp and don't want to lose it don't click equip build on one of those empty slots. You'll have to get a fresh bite if you do.
If that doesn't bother you equipping one of those blank slates will save you paying to redo your skill and attribute points.4 -

✭RedFire, you don't make a build by the means of Armory.
Armory is just saving / restoring the builds you made by respeccing and gearing your characters.
So, the only problem i have heard of is: if you are unable to save your build - unequip the disguise.
Step by step guide might be:
1 (optional) use Attributes reset shrine to vary your mag / stam / hp (costs a humble amount of gold)
2 (optional) use Skills respec shrine to vary your skills, morphs and passives (costs up to 15K gold depending on amount of SP)
3) (optional) reallocate your CP (3K gold)
4) (optional) obtain and put the gear on your character
5) save your build
You can equip already saved builds (there are 2 slots by default), rename or delete already saved builds.
That is all Armory does - saves, restores, manages the builds you make (and you make your builds exactly the same ways as you did before the Armory introduced).PC EU1
