Oblivion Portal farming: deadlands and blackwood the same?

For the purposes of farming leads, are the oblivion portals in the Deadlands and Blackwood the same portal/public dungeon? They both say "Atoll of Immolation."

Yes. the portals to get in are random and scattered throughout. I think portal locations change daily

I think they are different instances of the same zone but haven't tested enough to know.

Portals from Blackwood get you Blackwood sets in the end. Deadlands portals get you Deadlands sets. I would think that the leads would work the same way ideally.

See this is what I thought was happening but I hadn't paid enough attention when I last went inside to know for sure.

It's the leads that are important for this post. I need a lead from Blackwood.

Deadlands is being farmed, so killing the final boss is just a matter of waiting around and participating.

Blackwood is not being farmed, and I can't kill the final boss on my own. Generally there's only 1 other player passing through once an hour or so.

It's the same exact map layout using the in-game map for the most part, but there are cosmetic differences and probably different monster selection to a degree.

That sucks. Maybe try asking in Blackwood zone chat if anyone wants to farm the lead with you?

Give Bastian an Ice Staff and get him some blue bolstered/vigorous gear. He won't die if you use an Ice Staff because what gets him killed is getting too close to the boss at the center. So if you engage at range with a heavy attack and let him attack from range, he shouldn't have trouble staying alive with only an occasional heal.
