Yeah, I got 2 as well, which surprised me.

I actually closed Twitch after I got my first crate, because I needed to do something else on my iPad-- which is what I watch Twitch on-- and for some reason Amazon recently changed the Twitch app so that you can no longer watch Twitch in a small window while using a different app.

I opened Twitch back up a while later and started to watch the stream again, then noticed I was earning a second crate. As far as I could tell, they had two different drops campaigns for the stream-- one that was active from 9 to 10 AM EST, and another one that was active from 10 to 11 AM EST.

Yup. They did that because they hit certain donation thresholds. They ended up raising over 10k for Extra Life 4 Kids/Children's Miracle Network.

Totally agree.

I think that the notifications should arrive at least a couple of hours before the event.

As these events are scheduled and planned way in advance there should be earlier notifications.

I haven't been keeping up with the streaming schedules as I used to, so I don't know whether it was announced in advance.

I found out about it after it had already started, because someone mentioned it in zone chat.

I didn't see any mention of it in the forums, so I posted a heads up.

They did post a community event notice here *one* day before (not even a full 24 hours I think) about the Xbox/ESO/Truvium fundraiser on Twitch. They didn't indicate there would be crates, but I just assumed there would be.

It is almost willfully bad communication at this point since the mea culpa about increased communication happened & we know they're aware of it.
