The Name of the Inn

In Fargrave. The Bearer's Rest it is called yes?

This one would like you to consider changing the name to the Ham and Grapes, should it ever come under new management.

The Boot and Shoes would also be acceptable.

If you know what this one means then you know ...

Khajiit wonders also if there is anything else her fellow travellers have seen around Tamriel that they think might also deserve a different name (and no she doesn't mean that place in Ebonheart!).

Should call it The Farmer's Market, or "How ZOS tricked everybody into being together in one place to compare ogrim pasties."

Perhaps because looting the place results in getting sooo many ham and grape furnishing items? ( As well as several other very common green lot drops )

The number of lootable containers in the entire zone is comically low. The inn has several upstairs, so the only way to search for plans is to loot those same containers over and over. But the drop rates are so bad, mostly you only ever see greens, the ham and grape plans.

Edit: I searched a few times in the first few days, but I quickly moved on. There is a balance where you want to make things rare enough to have value but not so rare that they are not even worth bothering over. ZOS crossed way over that line with these plans.

ZOS herded 20-30 people at a time into one small balcony room to look for furnishing plans. The rest of the zone is bereft of places to search. Yet there are hundreds of urns, jars, and other unlootable containers in Fargrave.

If you want to see what "phoned it in" looks like, go try to find Fargrave furnishing plans.

This one has a family of 18. All but three are level 20 in Pocket Engineering. Many of those have levelled at the inn in Fargrave. The three not yet level 20 are still working on it.

You get maybe one blue Fargrave recipe a day if you are lucky. Not seen a purple since the first couple of days after the zone opened.

But a good place to train your apprentices and a nice change from Daggerfall docks - this one hopes you like purple sparkly ham and grapes though.

That's another pain point. The majority of pickpocketing targets are Daedra, who are immune to the Blade of Woe and can't be reset. So you either have empty mobs walking around for hours, or they sometimes just magically port away after the first pick, leaving the good stuff they may be carrying as an unlootable, no longer existent fantasy. It's as if they tried to make the whole experience as annoying as possible.

For those interested, the keep in the Brandfire Reformatory has about 15-20 urns ripe for the picking. Found quite a few blue and purple patterns in there when homemaker decides not to give me more grapes, fish, and ham. (Which it quite often does)

EDIT: also recommend the green CP Homemaker. It doubles the pattern in the same color as the original, and may also double drop the same recipe. They also drop the same type (ie. Leyawiin, orcish, fargrave, etc)

Something about the red hues in the Deadlands, I can’t seem to see any of the urns and such there.

I’m not colorblind, either. I try to find them when I’m there but I still think it’s not a good farming location.
