So a while back I made a tier list for how I viewed the various content in this game that people largely seemed to agree with.

https://tiermaker.com/create/eso-elder-scrolls-online-content-tier-list-1225647

Based on this list I am curious which rank of content would you say you enjoy and engage in most? Also, which type of content do you feel confident that you can clear even if you don't do it as often?

I personally know I can do A tier level content but lately I have been moreso engaging in C-Tier. I do want to do more A tier content soon though. I had been wanted to work on getting better at VVH but the bugs with the minotaur fight made it just too frustrating haha. I think I'll probably get back into after the holidays as I have been doing events a lot!

I'm probably missing something there as from mobile at least there's no explanation of what s or a tiers are representing and it's not really that obvious as it might vary from person to person.

But anyway I personally enjoy different things at times, from really low effort things to organised and goal oriented but currently I'm enjoying content I've prolonged intentionally the most for the time I'd be bored from general play: closing dungeon achievements. When the game was more "alive" so to say I've enjoyed trials and pvp mostly but nowadays a small close group of friendly folks and couple hours a week doing every small achieve is what I'm enjoying the most.

Ideally I'd like getting more solo arenas in the future as currently having just two is... Underwhelming? Especially when have not much time to schedule different kind of activities. Would be cool to try something of that sort again and work to get all the achievements they'll throw on us, that's what I consider to be fun and relaxing.

Basically the difficulty level of the content. I'm basically asking you to consider from the perspective of this being an accurate gauge as I already tried to get other people to rank the content the way they see it. But most just said "I agree with you." So this is a follow up to that earlier thread.

It's basically now that we have a good scale for the content difficulty, which content do you do?

I agree so much with this statement. I really want a new solo arena. I really like them because they don't require as much micromanaging of schedules or dealing with pugs.

Ah, I'm personally just getting dizzy reading words like "elite" (sounds really obnoxious in my native language) so thought there should be already a mention what one considers this or that to begin with.

Guess then my playtime nowadays is around c, b to a ones, as some achievements are just a small distractions on a way while some are more tiresome than getting a trifecta hehe. And s tier probably falls for scorepushing, so not something I'm interested in currently even in solo arenas.

That's a fair criticism. I tried to find language that didn't sound to off, but honestly I can see the issue with the term elite. It's just kinda hard not to sound that way when ranking content difficulty.

It sounds like me and you play similarly. But I've been skipping a lot of B tier content lately haha. It's mostly been I want to do something Vateshran or I just want to solo fungal Grotto for event tickets and chill lol

That's probably just a language thingie, a lot of people call things elite without any derogatory meaning behind it same as casual etc.

Personally I've never seriously "rated" what am i actually doing that way before. Kinda shows what's lacking for me currently to feel more balanced, should include Deadlands fishing as a Z one and topping best scores in arenas somehow as more high-end X) can't fit in any trials nowadays so rest in peace good scores there, not happening anymore.

Actually hated doing Vateshran myself, it was a nightmare on release day with all the grappling one shots and desync's when going fast so forced myself to finish off other achievements there like 2 months after it was released only. Saw people reporting different sorts of bugs or inconsistencies so I'm guessing it's yet again not the best time for going in, sadly. It was actually really enjoyable when was working properly!

Edit: also on a matter that our gameplay loop is pretty similar I'd guess a lot of people nowadays are stuck there in a middle after their raid teams disbanded after some unfortunate patches after patches, OW pvp not working properly for years, bg meta's being pretty rough and constant events on top of our heads hehe.

I currently am enjoying B & C level content. I can and have done A & S in ESO, but simply don't enjoy the experience, way to much of a job to make for enjoyable gameplay for me anymore. The fact I also now have physical limitations making decent LA Weaving near impossible for more than the briefest encounters... pretty much negates my ability to participate anyways (which I consider kinda screwed up game design).

    Z for zero, lol.

I just run around overland, farming scraps and junk, killing murderous crabs (first time playing, I was killed by a mudcrab, there were no cp back then, I deffinitely swear vengeance on them), while waiting for my bg match.

Z for me. As often said (sorry for repeating), ESO isn't my main game. I don't play every day and I chill only, mostly wandering in explorable, with some delves and quests if I feel for it. Once in a blue moon an easy dungeon. Rarely, a WB and/or Dolmen if a group is at it when I'm passing by.

I would say mostly C and Z, with a tad of B. That's for solo play, which is how I usually roll.

I schedule vDLC dungeon achievement runs, and do vDLC dungeons quite a lot. Ofc I also lurk Craglorn zone chat while I'm in a queue for the said vDLC dungeons. From Craglorn, I sign up for anything that picks my interest: mostly vTrials (craglorn ones, since I play off-hours and thus haven't done other vTrials and thus am not allowed to other trials in pugs), vArenas (vDSA) and dungeon achievements.

Other activities, besides vDLC dungeons are: random veteran dungeon, housing and quests. Every now and then I also hop into pug nTrials for gear and loot.

I'm solo-only, but I feel like I wouldn't be if there were better video guides!

In WoW and FFXIV, I could always find several people creating dungeon vids that were typically 4-8 minutes in length, detailing mostly the boss mechanics that you would have to watch out for. And due to my anxiety, I feel like I can't step foot in any dungeon with randos unless I've already watched the vid for it at least three times and memorized most of the stuff or I'll embarrass myself!

So far in this game, though, every time I've tried to look up a dungeon guide, all I get are 40-60 minute videos of full clears. And I simply don't have the time, memory or attention span for that!

So! If anyone out there wants to be internet-famous and is capable of creating CONCISE, informative videos, well, you'd have a lot less competition here than in most other games! Just so you know.

Both Xynode and Alcast offer walkthroughs of the boss mechanics, but you need to read them, not watch them. You can watch Alcasts videos, but he and his group usually DPS the stuff down so fast, you don't get to see any mechanics happening anyways, so kind of a waste to watch if thats your point for watching

Yeah, I have no idea what the levels before Z are, but I’m sort of perturbed that solo players are in the same category as role players. From what I understand, they are not even playing the game and they don’t level up their characters.

How can you equate that to soloing FG1 or fighting solo in Cyrodiil?

Pretty much this. Most of the best BG players I know have completed many vet DLC dungs or trials, it's a matter of proper equipment and learning the mechanics which are unchangeable, it's much more difficult to find a group of such players who have the desire and time to play that way than learning how to do it. Most players running around the trials can only dream about being in the top BG, PvP requires much more experience and in my opinion is more difficult to master because the opponent is also constantly changing and evolving, adapting and can counter accordingly.
    Say no to Toxic Casuals!
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge

Solo ONLY players are players that refuse to do multiplayer activities, rather than people who prefer to do the various activites alone but will engage in multiplayer content. I see them come here on the forums sometimes and ask for advice on how to do things like FG during events, because they could never imagine themselves soloing a group dungeon and avoided them.

I have seen them describe themselves as solo only several times so I just rolled with it.

I refuse to be put in a category!!

I do what I want when I want but my biggest joy is the Guilds I have been with for many years......

I can spend a whole evening just chatting in Guild Chat, they are my second family!

People on my friends list often ask me "What the hell are you doing in Riften for hours on end?" <3
    When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!
