Best bang for your buck? - Wrothgar. It's basically a Chapter for the price of a DLC

Best for Morrowind fans? - Clockwork City. It transforms what was basically a glorified dungeon into a full zone and adds some neat lore about Sotha Sil's perspective.

Best for a beachside vacation? - Summerset. Not that Varanis Arano would know, since people keep bothering her to save the world again.

    Summerset
I loved Summerset. I thought the zone had a good balance between scale and quality. The bright colors and generally pleasant atmpsphere keep brining me back to the zone even now.

Worthgar and Summerset are the best zones in the game and by far the best stories as well.

    Wrothgar
For me, Wrothgar just for the sheer beefiness. After that, maps and content (in comparison) seemed to become more anemic. Next would be Vvardenfell as my favorite. I loved the main storyline, and the content itself was fairly rich. Lots of goodies to be found as well if you liked to snoop around other people's houses.

Tough call between Western Skyrim and Wrothgar. Went with Skyrim as it has Blackreach, which looks incredible.

Coldharbour, Wrothgar and Summerset were my favourites (so far: I haven't even come close to doing all the zones, but I've visited most of them).

    Murkmire
Of those on the list, I like Murkmire and Blackwood in that order. That said, I prefer every single one of the game's original alliance zones over any DLC/Chapter. I prefer the ease of navigation, soloable WBs and better laid out (not confusing) delves/public dungeons of the original zones. I prefer dark anchors over any attempt at 'world events' since. I also favor the 'medieval fantasy' flavor generally found in the original zones. And lastly, I generally find the original zones quests more enjoyable/memorable than the DLC/Chapter quests. With the exceptions of Murkmire and Blackwood, I've found the DLC/Chapter questlines to be quite unengaging for me

    Summerset
For me based on how beautiful the landscape is: Summerset. I also like the repartition of the foes, with a good balance between safe zones, hard zones, dolmens, bosses...

In term of content, there is for me not one area better than another. All areas contents seem equivalent to me. There are differences yes, but no that big to my eyes. So content doesn't make my choice.
I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA

I just love the cities created there, they have a really unique vibe. My favorite place will probably still be Auridon though.
    Say no to Toxic Casuals!
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge

    Vvardenfell
The only thing holding Wrothgar back for me is the awkward placement of the wayshrines. None in either of the important settlements, running to quest-givers can be a pain.Vardenfell is convenient and very detailed. I know it's because it was basically copied from Morrowind, but there's so much random stuff to just stumble across. Summerset has to be a close third just because of how damn pretty it is.
