Name Change Tokens

Concrete

Name change tokens change your character name in all general game play, EXCEPT LEADER BOARDS (and no, it is not a recent name change, its months old now).
The only place where you might care where your character name appears, leader boards, shows the characters original name.

Numerous in game tickets have raised regarding this issue.

Tokens cost 'real' money. Therefore is it not unreasonable to have a real fix for this issue?

It also doesn't change the name on anything that character previously crafted. Potions will still say they're created by the old name. I guess that was the different "alternate reality" version of the character lingering on. XD

Things are tracked by your Character name, not your @Name.

I doubt the Database even has the @Name to even reference.

Besides, if you were good enough to get on leaderboards on the old name, you can do so again under your new name and then have two slots.

Also, what leaderboard is OP speaking of? Is it one that will grant a reward?

Is the name there from before the name change or since the name change but somehow the old name? was posted then that is an issue If this is the case then I agree, there is a real problem that needs to be fixed. If the name was posted to the leaderboard before the name change and will not provide a reward then I suggest nothing needs to be fixed.

it happen on cyrodiil leaderboard . For exemple :

- i changed the name of my char , it doesn't change in leaderboard , so i left the campagne and came back later > still the old name appears .
- changed the alliance and the name of one char > still old name appear
- tried to leave the camp , home another camp > same old name on the new camp and back on my campagne > old name again

It can confuse people who don't see the @name of other players, and also annoying for those who paid a token and still get the old name in leaderboard like it's will be forever ....

I mean, why changing name exept for RP in that case ?

this was not like that a year ago, it's since last summer or so i guess

Bump! This is really annoying ... My old names show on Cyro leaderboards after buying multiple name changes.
I have been submitting ingame tickets for this for months now..

This is still an issue. One of my character's old name is showing up on leaderboards for Cyrodiil. Other leaderboards are fine and showing current name.
