When the Fang Lair Courser returned to the Crown Store this past summer, I looked up images and video before buying and came across images of an Ashen Fang Lair Courser. However, no one I asked in game seemed to have heard of it and thought I was referring to the Fang Lair Courser then available. I began to wonder whether the Ashen Fang Lair Courser had ever been available or only datamined, but according to UESP Wiki, BOTH mounts were available in the Crown store back in 2018. About a week ago, I actually saw one in game and took some screenshots with my Fang Lair Courser beside. 
I think they look well together! I'm posting this in the hope that more will find out about this cool mount and request its return!
