Crown Store Skyshards Upgrade

Bought skyshard upgrade for 800 crowns and yet did not get my skill points. Did what the troubleshooting page said to do and close app and relog, which I did but yet no skill points. Thought maybe I made a mistake and bought another upgrade for 800 crowns and game said I received 2 skill points. I never thought I would see the day when the Crown store was bugged as well. patch 32 has definitely surfaced a lot of bugs that go way beyond just mentioning in this post.

Had you already collected any skyshards in the zone you purchased the skyshards for?

You pay FULL price regardless how many sky shards you already collected in the zone you bought the Sky Shards for. The only ones I buy for my alts these days are the Cyrodiil ones as I don't PvP anymore and getting the ones behind the walls are much harder these days.

No because it's a new character and didn't want to go zone to zone so I typically buy 2 of the 800 crown upgrades to get my character going and then clear easier to navigate zones and buy the zones such as Shadowfen, Summerset, etc at a later date. It worked fine before update 32.

Well, that sounds like a bug then. You should probably post in the Bug Report forum, or in game, or both.

yeah I submitted a ticket but wanted it to be known here so there is a documentation trail as well as other players to take note that it might happen to them.

Oh okay, that's good! I don't buy skyshards myself (because I LOVE finding them again on everyone!) but hopefully word will get around for those who do.

As a quick test, check your achievements on that character to see if the transaction even when through.

After that, go to the zone and check to see if the skyshards physically show as collected. Some screenshots could go a long way to helping CS get your ticket resolved.
