Please Remove Dark Convergence from the Game

Or at least remove the pull. Buff the damage, I don't care. But remove the pull.
There's nothing inherently wrong with the pull, but when you combine it with laggy servers, it's devastating. Console lag is way worse than PC lag (if you can imagine that.)

I don't know about other servers, but on PS EU, everyone and their mother is using it in battlegrounds and Cyrodiil. It was fun in the beginning, but it isn't fun anymore.

We had a way to deal with zergs and ball groups. It was called bombing, and it worked great (until proxy detonation got over-tuned, but that's fixed now.) That was before you decided to completely ruin Mechanical Acuity for everyone. You could have changed it so that only AoE's had a guaranteed crit for 5 seconds. Even if you left it the way it was, the short TTK wasn't because the set was too powerful. It was because of people running around with 20k health and no resistances. Players who know what they're doing in PvP don't really have a problem dealing with gankers or jabplars.

Please revisit this set and your recent changes.

I think it should be completely (and I do mean completely) reworked not removed.

That said I completely feel your pain, while manageable on PC as well its still after the nerfs completely and utterly horrible. In all my years since beta, I have NEVER been more frustrated with a set than I am with that bloody pull.

I've died more while being pulled and never died from the damage lmao and that was before the nerf to the damage.
Ah, e-communities - the "pinnacle" of the internet............yeah, right.

whats bother me is the fact that

    - I am in the keep, on the upper platform and attacks those below attacking the front door and suddenly i am dead on the ground in middle of them : if they can pull me down through floor this is not correct

    - i am in the keep, near a wall, and it appears that someone fighting outside of the wall is using convergence to fight opponents, it still pull me through the wall of the keep. Then again its not correct

But as it seems that the devs find this correct, i find a final solution : i do not go to cyrodill anymore

There should be no free pull mechanic in any video game. Displacing another players position in game should cost resources and have to be aimed. Displacing another player in game should require a skill, and it absolutely should be costly in terms of resources. The free pull that doesn't even have to be aimed is a god mode mechanic.

AGAIN, please don’t remove the pull, make it like bahsei that only works on non-players only.

There's no adapting to lag. Everyone knows what they need to do to survive Dark Convergence. But the game won't let you do it, because of lag.

I couldn't agree more. There are people using AoE's inside the lava in that one battlegrounds map to pull players into it. In what world is that okay?

Yes! I've seen people using it in PvE, and it looks really good for trash fights. If your suggestion is possible, it would probably be the best change the devs can make. But if yours isn't possible, and mine isn't possible, then for the love of god, just delete the set from the game!

All for it being reworked to be balanced for pve only, removed from rewards of the worthy and put in a new trial. It's too overpowered for anything less. It should never have been a purchasable set. Even though I've made a small fortune off it... 😅

I've faced off against the nerfed version of dark convergence in Cyrodiil and BGs. IMO it is currently fine as is.

Before the nerf I would randomly die to it at times and now it is fairly easy to counter. The second pull was a killer so that alone was a great nerf and the damage scaling is better so that it can properly serve as a zerg buster instead of something that does crazy damage even on just 1 player.

    Favorite Foods and Potions

    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

I have to somewhat agree that it is OK-ish now. Still annoying that it can pull off walls but its not overbearing in a fight. Its something I feel will see its use greatly reduced as it no longer really gives a cheap kill from overwhelming numbers of them.

Any set gained in Cyrodiil, IC or via battle Grounds should affect players, they are PvP sets and should work in PvP. If it also works in PvE, fine, but they should always work in PvP.

I would point out that many sets found in Trials have things that only work in trials, they are trial sets... the same needs to apply in PvP.

That is the only thing that bothers me now. I wouldn't mind if it were just AoE up there but yanking off the wall seems wrong. Since the change I have only seen it yank players from Bleakers and Nichols. Does it still do it from keep walls also?

What really bites is when you get yanked to the edge and get stuck. You basically just stay there helpless until the enemy finally kills you. At least when you get yanked to the bottom you get one roll dodge in before dying.

I'd be more inclined to take the pull away from working on NPCs than take it away from working on players. It was designed to combat groups of players.

Right now it isn't to bad in Cyrodiil other than the yank off wall thing. Haven't played battlegrounds since the change because of other issues.
