BUG Vamp Bite Animation Is Gone

Just bit another player and all that happened was a quick "ding" sound from the game and I had blood on my face. I didn't show I had bitten anyone and he didn't show infected. Literally five minutes later I showed my seven day cool down and he could then access the vampire quest. Worked before current update from Monday. PC NA bit player at Riften shrine.
