Curated drops bugged for multi-weight sets

... E.g., Bahraha's Curse, Syvarra's Scales, Sithis' Touch. The only piece I am missing from the BC is medium waist. I lost count of number of times I have killed the Bahraha's Gloom delve boss today, I have over a dozen of BC light waists now, a few light shoes, one SS light waist, no medium waist.

Same for Syvarra, I get light drops when I am missing med/heavy. Thankfully, I was missing a light piece in ST.

Pretty sure the off weights only drop from the quests or something and the overland drops are tied to the main weight of the set.

The curated drops only pull from the potential loot that boss can drop. The boss can't drop medium or heavy BC items. It doesn't allow the boss to drop something it can't otherwise drop.

Something is up with the multi-weight sets though. I'm at Tribune's Folly in the Gold Coast. The first kill dropped a light Sithis hat which I already had (I am missing the medium and heavy ones), but all the weapons from the Gold Coast sets are in the pool (which I don't have) so I should have gotten one of those.

EDIT: 2nd kill dropped an Inferno staff of Flanking.

I suspect it determines the set before determining which item from that set.

Also, as has been pointed out, the delve bosses can only drop the LIGHT version of all of the above (which is why it's been so much cheaper in the mall than the heavy and medium).

I assume you already had all the Sithis weapons and all the Sithis light armour, so when it selected Sithis as the set, there were only duplicates to offer you (since the boss cannot drop medium and heavy). If it had selected one of the other Gold Coast sets, then it would have preferred a non-duplicate weapon to a duplicate armour.
