Update 32 - Start Button Error

Hello,

Just curious if anyone else got this error pop-up?

Background:
1.) I updated last night while server was down.
2.) I saw this error the first time this morning while opening the launcher and clicking "Start"
3.) The game launched anyway, but proceeded to crash after (Window's typical "This program is not responding" pop-up)
4.) I re-opened the launcher and clicked "Repair"
5.) Repair happened within 10 minutes.
6.) Still get this same error.

My system:
Windows 7 Professional
AMD Athlon II X4 559, Quad 3.41GHz
8GB RAM (2x 4GB)
Nvidia GTX 1070, 12GB RAM, 8GB dedicated VRAM

I usually play controller, but that has nothing to do with it since the controller isn't even plugged in.

Anyway, hopefully it's not another "Windows 7 user? Oh well" problem.



Update/EDIT: The game launches fine now. But the error still pops up..?

It seems you missing something like a game launcher file. I also sometimes receive "not responding" error but it works fine after a few seconds.

The first reply in this thread leads to a 3rd thread, and there's a comment about copying the "missing" .dll file into the ESO64.exe directory so it stops complaining with the pop-up.
