If you don't plan on using the Armory Station

I don't know if this is intentional, but leaving a blank slate to one of the slots basically gives you a free respec each and every time you use it. There doesn't seem to be a limit, just a small cooldown period, and can avoid the shrine cost if you want a full wipe down of stats and skills.

That's very convenient! I'll not use the armory furnishing for my main character's build, as it is pretty niche to begin with (Breton Dragonknight), but there are various ability morphs that I use for different types of content so that would save me lots of gold in the long run! Thanks for the tip

It can be considered exploit,so I wouldn't use it for that purpose,unles you want them to possibly ban you.

It would be no different if I saved a slot with the bare minimum of points spent on crafting, passives, and whatever I consider to be essential to all builds. I can equip that saved build like I would any normal build saved there, as often as I want, that's the way the system is built. Those with Werewolf/Vampire should probably use a regular shrine first though, in the case it removes your curse effect if you plan on using it.

It would be no different if I saved a slot with the bare minimum of points spent on crafting, passives, and whatever I consider to be essential to all builds. Yeah, that's not a bad idea. Have a neutral template set, and have something like Meteor, Force Pulse, or any other skill with either or morphs that change depending on situations left undone. So you can then choose what morph you want for each when you want them. I was only planning on having a PVP and PVE set up, but I could be persuaded to grab a few more slots to do something like this.

Is this going to work for slottable CP stars better than the current addon? That's about the only thing I can feature using it for....

This, I say its more an way to use the station plenty might even buy an extra slot for this so I don't think it will be patched.

I would prefer to use an respec shrine as letting me remove points or change morphs is much easier than an clean slate where I need some hours getting the new build together.

Rich confirmed on stream just now, 1 hour 40 minutes into the stream, that saving a blank slot is acceptable behaviour.

I named first slot as "soft respec", which removes all skillpoints from active skills and resets CP. Attributes and passives unaffected.

Second slot is named "hard reset", which resets all skillpoints, CP and attributes.
