Option to queue for every BG at once

Seriously, I don't care which BG I'm playing, be it deathmatch only, solo/group... I only want to play ANY BG at all. Right now I was trying to figure out which queue would pop the fastest. I spent 10 mins in each of the 4 queues and none of them popped. This is ridiculous, the queues seem to be too fractured now. Just let me queue for all 4 options at once and put me in the BG that forms the fastest.

Of course. But that only matches you with people that also selected Solo Random BG. Not people that selected Solo Deathmatch BG. And of course not with people that selected Group Random/DM. There are 4 different queues and they don't seem to mix people up, not even between Solo/Group types.
I want to queue for all 4 options at once, since I literally don't care if I'm mixed with groups or in a solo BG, or get DM or a random mode. But right now I have to chose 1 of 4 options, even if I'm fine with ANY option and just want the one that pops fastest.1 -

Before the update, was PC able to queue for both solo and group at the same time, or was it always one or the other? On console we can queue both solo and group, being put into whichever fills first. Similar to how you can queue for specific dungeon, but select multiple dungeons at once.
If this was never possible on PC then perhaps there's still hope to queue for all four when the update hits console. If it was possible before on PC but no longer is then I suppose not.0 -

Ah ok, I think I see what you're saying now.
I would have thought people who selected solo random battleground would be able to match with those who selected solo deathmatch only as well. So it's odd that they would separate those two.
Sounds reasonable to me to give people the option to just queue up for everything on a first come first serve basis.0 -

That would then give disproportional amount of DM BG's, something which people who dislike DM would not like very much1 -

Maybe. But if it's random then they are going to get put into a death match now and then anyway. So long as those who chose deathmatch only get priority I wouldn't think some crossover would be a bad thing.
I don't get why they don't let you pick specific battlegrounds you want to queue for and then have everyone put into the same pool with the randoms. They already let you pick deathmatch specifically. Why not the others?
Honestly: If they can't even find 12 people who want to do a specific battleground in a queue then it should be removed from the game anyway. And me personally, I'd gladly wait longer for a battleground if it's one of the ones I prefer (like the flag ones). And if you're in a hurry, then picking random is always there as an option.
