Applying Patch - Is your launcher too slow too?

It say's patch is 3.53 GB, I ınstalled it with no problem but at patch applying stage, it's so slow. It's applying 30GB patch. I just wondered is it like that with you too?

It's applying with 8mb/s entire game files and I have SSD. Is this normal?

This greatly depends on the kind of SSD you have. Ys, it is normal, If it is a single SATA 6gbps SSD with a small - or zero - buffer cache. There's a lot of unpacking and files being moved around, and you will see slow-downs if it is all happening on the same drive.

My apply speed was 150mb/s.

SSD is a Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 NVMe

So it depends on the speed of the SSD.

I had similar slow speeds with my drive (SATA SSD), took quite awhile for the first ~40%, then the last part went quickly. Whole process was still 40m+, though.

Well thanks for all answers. After closing Google Chrome, patch becomes faster. I think somehow Chrome was slowing the process.
