Ability to transmute or reconstruct any game set in any weight.

Since it seems ZOS is finally going hybrid. I would like to see the ability to transmute or reconstruct any of my game gear sets in medium light or heavy. I would put a barrier behind it like you have to have a master Crafter in all crafting and know all traits and of course collected all pieces of that set.
Example, say I have two light armor sets I want to put together as a build I wish I could craft one as medium. Or if I have two medium sets I can transmute one set to light for the body say like Deadly set. Rattlecage and Deadly, Deadly weapon and jewelry Rattlecage light except for leaving chest heavy. You know just like the monster helmets come in all three light, medium and heavy

If we could do this to monster sets in our inventory it would be great.

Why remove the armor passives you would still want to build your set around heavy medium or light based on what passes you want or need. Right or am I just not understanding your comment.

Because sets are also balanced around their weights. It's another handle to balance things around and offer optimisation choices.

Yes true but these sets were also previously balanced around their weight for their weapon damage or spell damage or stamina or magic increase and not including whether it was light or medium and had a penetration value with the passives or weapon and spell damage increase pass passive. So what makes these things less important than the weight of the set. It's like saying one side of the bread deserves butter and the other side doesn't deserve butter who's the judge on which side gets butter
