Unable to use chairs in Leyawiin Inn

I went to the Kaladas Inn to relax and I'm unable to sit in any of the chairs.





Anyone know why this is? I'd love to have the inn more lively with people drinking, talking, etc.

I was wondering something similar - I cannot use prayer seats in Leyawiin church aswell - maybe it is the kind of church, where you are allowed only to kneel down?
It doesn't feel good that such traditional detail was left out, I hope they will re-add it - it is a small thing to do and a whole group of RP players could feel more welcome.
When it comes to Leyawiin itself - I wish it would feel more alive. That is why I always ask for small city factions you could join in MMOs for RP and immersion, because I believe it would feel so better. There is always empty disfunctional building of mages and fighers guild and those other daily groups usually don't even have place. Well in Leyawiin it is the council, so they have it covered. But I miss the low life group of poor from TES, it could still be there, having their own hists -like bank robbery - not always the same unfair corridors. And bigger group of merchants - well there is a quest about it, so that is great. Truth is what kind of daily they could offer?

My GF and I were able to sit in those chairs. We sat there for a good 7 minutes listening to the music, like a concert.

We finished the opening questline and came back to sit in those chairs, then we were not able to.

I wonder if that inn exists as a different version once the quest chain is over and that second version does not have the chairs activated to sit on. I dunna, just wildly guessing.

That sounds like the chairs may be broken in just some of the instances of the zone. Would be interesting to see if reloggong, or traveling to another player fixes it.

EDIT: I went to the inn and was unable to sit on any chairs. Relogged and could sit on all of them. So it seems they are just broken in some instances.

You are right - I checked now and I can sit on the church seats, so maybe that was just a broken shard. Well now I can feel better

OHHH no wonder. You see I like sitting on one of the chairs in the bank when I need to briefly go afk, and I know for a fact that some of them are sittable. But just the other day, NONE of them were able to be used as chairs, which confused the heck out of me....

This makes so much more sense now. I do kind of wish we could choose which instance we're in, like channels in a server.

If it happens again, you can find a gap at the table and do /sitchair or if you have it, /ownthrone.

I noticed a lot of the seats just around Leyawiin I can't interact with. The one bench with the tree and book was one. Thought it was just me.
