How do I get Witches Festival Writs? I was wondering how many it is possible to get in the event and where they drop from?

Sorry, I meant how do we get them from the event. Where do they drop from during the event and can you get more than one etc. (That didn't fit in the title of my question). I realise we can buy them from the guild traders lol but those people selling them must have gotten them from somewhere

✭Get in a group, speedrun a short high boss count dungeon of choice killing all the bosses, rinses repeat. You can easily do a box every 2 minutes per group member. A couple of hours of that and you should have all the pet bits, all the recipes (and a load to sell), and a bunch of other stuff like plunder skull fanatic and everything for most of the achievements except the gold style sheets.

✭they are in the skulls that drop from the various sources:
delve bosses
world bosses
public dungeon bosses
minibosses randomly popping up i the wild like close to the entrance of the witch quest location in Auridon.
Dolmen bosses.
These are the easy ones, in addition you have more challenging ones from Trial and Arena bosses. As far as I know the rewards are the same, they just drop the rarer Dremora motifs like legs.
So you could get the writs for the 2 achievements (13 for the hat and 28 for the title) doing what I just described.
But you might not get the required 28 in the 12 days. 13, yes, doable with some luck, but I doubt 28.
I think the concept is taking in account, that many players already have the title, so their "reward" is the gold they get from selling the writs in guildstores.
Price is around 30k for 1 when the event starts, decreasing each day due to underbidding. In the end you get them for 5000 or even less.
I was impatient today on a new account I play, so I bought 5. One for 20k, one for 11k, and 3 for less than 8k. So now I have the hat, and will sell all those that drop in future, as the title witch is not important for me.0
