Dagonic Quasigriff Opinions?

What do you personally think about it? Do you love it? Hate it? Something in between? It's POLL TIME

I really like griffins and I would have loved to have a griffin mount, even if it didn't fly (I get that it would be a whole new set of mechanics and ESO must be one heck of spaguetti code). It could have worked like the baby griff pet, perhaps opening its wings when jumping. This mount, however, I don't like it very much. It's very disappointing. The fact it's just another reskin of a model is... well, it's getting quiet stale to be honest.

Would have been nice if the thing had some color.

Make it look more like a Summerset griffin with different head and tail plumage.

It's just a brown blob, and really has no relationship to 'Dagon' in any way I can tell. No demonic particle effects, fire etc. that indicate it's anything but some weird animal like the bizarre lizard-horse mount that isn't available any more.

Not bad for a reskin of a senche-raht. I'll never use it as the animations make me feel queasy. Same for bears and camels.

I wanted to like it, rode it once, then put it away.
It will be the guardian for the hell house that's coming up, but I prob would have regretted it, had I not got him.

I like it but don't like the riding animation. I feel like my brains are being shaken out of my head.

I like it. I did feel that reskinning the senche-raht was an odd choice for a griffin, but the tail is lovely and I liked the mount more when I saw other players riding it so got it myself.

Not got it yet. Still need the last bit but was running behind one today and it looked like a feather duster bumping along in front of me.

Dislike it. The only thing I have from this whole year is the Morpholith pet, which is cute and fairly silent. The rest of the stuff was nothing I would ever use, including the house.

I'm just not a fan of daedric anything.

The model is super cool but unfortunately that's it. When sprinting it becomes obvious that the animation is super janky, which is what killed it for me. I didn't expect sounds to exceptional for a mount in this game but it could have at least sounded more gruff or threatening. Sounds like it's having an asthma attack.

I am looking forward to the new free home. I like the open concept. I just wish we could access the beast we can see on the far side.

Wasn't interested in it at all. Saved up my tickets and skipped the last couple of events. Not a big fan of the house either, but I need more space to store furnishings. The pet was neat though. Plan on getting enough tickets after the house to make another morpholith.

I confess that's the only reason I'm getting the house, to use it as a storage room.

Yep. Not having a huge number of huge houses, it'll at least be useful for storage.

Or, my other idea, is to see how it reacts to my "heavily forest any outdoor spaces, even if inappropriate!" tendency.
(I got a bunch of those big blue-glow mushrooms a few weeks ago. They might go nicely in a red place.)

That would be a normal Quasigriff, this is a Dagonic Quasigriff, it shares the same color scheme of other Dagonic creatures.

It's fine, I just wish it used the aquiline legs instead of the feline ones.

The gryphons in game have eagle talons and feathers down all four legs. If this one just looked like the normal gryphons but without the wings, it'd have been fine. As it is now, it looks like someone just picked the wrong hind legs for it.

It's nice when idle but those heavy weight animations are just... Well, at least it can serve as a furnishing of sorts.

The heavy weight animations make me a bit dizzy, especially at faster mount speeds. I do not mind the sounds at all, since those are the gryphon sounds we hear from actual gryphons ingame as well.
That being said, I would have preferred an actual gryphon mount (with clipped/unusually small/injured wings), especially if it was a quest reward where we get to adopt the gryphon as nobody else wants a gryphon that can't fly, but we love it anyway. Would give more of a sense of attachment to the mount, which the Indriks failed due to being so inflated and other mounts fail because they are obtained through the crownstore. It would also be quite the wholesome story.

I like its look but hat the sound it makes when sprint is engaged since every 5 feet in this game mount hits something that that makes it make that noise again.
