I think it would be a nice feature to be able to set the day/night cycle for our homes. For example, time of day or permanent night.

I've been asking for this for probably close to 2 years. It'd be nice if they'd finally listen.

An excellent suggestion, I was just about to make a post about this myself until I saw this one.

At a base level, we should at least be given the option to set to day or night while using the Editor. If only to enable us to edit furniture without having to move lights so we can see what we're doing, or so we can test lighting placements and setups.

Yes, and the ability to turn off or pause the sandstorms in the Thieves Oasis. The sand ignores any laws of physics and blows through player built structures as if the walls weren't even there. It's so immersion breaking that I just abandoned the house, and wish I'd never bought it. Not to mention that the blinding sand makes it difficult to place furnishings with any precision, especially at night.

A /sandon and /sandoff command would be so easy to implement, as it's already in the code and triggers the sand at predetrermined intervals. Just allow us to set the interval frequency to zero, if desired.

In Rift, they have housing items called sky projectors that you can place in the dimension to change the atmosphere. Super cool feature I sorely wish we had here too. You can choose night or day, or spooky-spacey type skies, fire, etc... very fun and makes for having multiple looks in one space.

    Spawn points too.

It would be awesome to build stuff wherever you want inside of a home and then have players spawn in where you intend. I can imagine this having a huge effect on obstacle courses and the more creative builds.

I think this feature is coming soon, I saw somewhere a post of upcoming things seen on the PTS, and one of them was a furnishing with a description saying something along the lines of granting the ability to control the weather.

Oh the necro lord are back
Forget new content for a while & forget adding new DLC, this is a list of what is actually needed in the game:
1: Handheld magic/ giving you the option to not use your staff to L/H Attack but instead it will shoot from your hand, like a spell.
    2: Spellcrafting.
3: Combat pet skin / summon Atronach.
    4: Summon weapon.
5: Change the Housing item limit.
    6: Multi Attunable crafting station.
7: Add Writ boards and Writ Drop-off's for housing.
8: Cut the crown price of Mundus stones (4000x13? 52000 crowns?).
9: Visual upgrade for all spell and animation.
10: More structural item, door, floors, arch, walls for all size and shape.
11: Dusting and adding things to the mage guilds.
