Timers on drop from bosses and bugs

Is there any timer for loot from bosses?
I thought it used to be - 1st time you get full loot, 2. time and more - you get less.
But I was saving my Blackwood public run for better loot and it was actually worse - I got some coins only from most of bosses.
There is even an older bug encountered through Aldmeri dominion zone worldbosses where if you do boss with more of players nobody will get any loot.

Why they would create public dungeons with a lot of bosses and then deny you the drop? It doesn't make sense, does it?
And why they would create world boss for a lot of players and remove drop if you do it with a lot of players?
Does anyone have similar experience?

    Are you sure nobody got loot at world bosses? AFAIK if plenty of players dmg a world boss, the loot is based on your contribution you did for killing the boss. And vanilla-open world world bosses have litterally not that much HP that if 5+ players hit on a world boss, the boss dies rather quickly.

    In regards to public dungeon bosses, you have a certain timer for looting a boss again after you looted it before. Not sure if this timer is 15 minutes or more. This stems back to the early days of ESO where players would literally camp bosses for loot and killed it every couple of seconds.

    Public dungeon boss drops are all on the same timer. This means that you can go from boss to boss and if the timer has not run out you'll only get a few coins and experience points. When the timer runs out, you'll get drops again. I just ran Crows Wood looking for the lead drop. I was running past everything going from boss to boss fighting any that were spawned until I got the lead. Didn't take too long but I would get two to three bosses with just coins and experience points for every one that did give me drops.

    As far as world bosses go, the way I understand it, only the top 12 damage dealing players get loot. Everyone else gets credit for the kill should they have a quest for that kill and land at least one hit that contributes towards that kill.

    Each boss should be on a separate timer, but from farming delves I can confirm there is about 5-10 minute window before you get another full boss loot drop. Any time earlier than that only gets a small amount of gold. I suspect it's meant to de-incentivize camping and farming bosses, specifically delve ones. Not that it stops people, especially when a new antiquity lead is tied to one.

    I had to kill Aldunz delve boss 36 times for one of the wolfie mount leads.
    This boss time is like 5 minutes. If player to kill the boss arrives, the boss respawns, but you get nothing (except, maybe some humble amount of gold) from the kill.
    I guess all the bosses are on 5..10 minutes timer, which prevents farming drops with a parked at the boss characters.

    I've noticed this lately too. Yesterday I was doing WBs for the endeavours. First boss was with a few other players and dropped normal loot, some blue and purple gear, gold etc., second I soloed and got nothing much but some green gear and gold.

    Thanks for the answers - maybe when I solo public, it takes more than 5 minutes, but when I'm in a group, we can roll through it and get to another boss sooner than 5 minutes - so it is quite strange they don't have the timer just for 1 boss.
    But I have heard that the Blackwood publics were bugged during the event, so I didn't get coffers, because in some other publics I did in a group it was with drop always. But maybe I wasn't so waiting for the drop, so I could overlook that.

    And about world bosses - first I thought it was random, but now when I think about it, maybe it is certain bosses, but I don't remember their names - it was in Greenshade and Malabar Tor near the sea.
    I was soloing it, then someone came, did some dps and it didn't drop any loot. Next time it was the opposite, but I think I did enough of dps, but the other one said he got no loot aswell. and third time it was with a group of 3 people - nobody got loot.
    While when I was soloing some other bosses in those zones, I don't recall having any problems, but maybe those bosses were not bugged.

    Oh! Yes that troll boss in Malabal has been bugged for some time. I've also had it not drop loot many times. I end up fighting it a lot, every time I get a treasure map down there I end up helping someone kill it.

    Yes that is the boss. Mystery solved. Only I don't think nobody reported that as a bug before - I hope it is fixed now with this skull drop event.

    I was even thinking about their 5 minutes timer in pubs supposingly against farmers - so they add 50 pieces drop which I thought would be perfect spot for farmers and grinders to make money over poor normal players, only to discover that it is so insane, that nobody does buy it even. So it is not profitable for grinders, it is not interesting for ordinary players and on the top of that their public dungeons doesn't feel rewarding anymore even for ordinary overland sets drop, because if you are too fast you don't get any drop... I still don't understand that decision at all.

    Yeah, Malabal Tor has been bugged for as long as I can remember. The only WB that drops loot (and the ring of wild hunt lead) like they should is the female commander boss, on the river bank up toward the main city.
