Are there any tweaks to make the game run better on a Vega GPU?

When I try to run ESO on my Vega20-equipped MBP, it "hitches" or stutters every couple of seconds. It feels like it's texture thrashing. On PC, there are always lots of ways of tweaking the graphics/rendering options on most games. Is there any way to adjust video settings (outside of the main menu) on the Mac?

I'm running the game on a Radeon RX Vega 56 (in a Razer Core X), and it is plenty enough for the graphics, the weak point definitely is the 13'' MBP CPU and not the Vega GPU.

That being said, I'm not running on max graphics settings, I tweaked those settings in the game until the GPU usage graph showed about 80% gpu utilisation, and also using the votan adaptive video settings addon.
