About the Plague Break set and what counts as 'removed early'

Hi,
I've googled around but can only get people talking about PvP stuff. I don't play PvP and have no interest doing so. To each his own.
I loved the sound of this set as I enjoy making fun builds but despite testing I just canlt quite figure out if killing the enemy counts as 'removed early'
Can anyone shed any light on this? As I'm seriously wasting my time wearing this if it does not spread to other enemies when they die/I kill them

I believe after next update it should proc on death if they have the Dot, according to PTS patch notes. BUT, the dmg tooltip for single targets is getting nerfed.Edited by The_Wunderboy on October 18, 2021 11:54AM2

The DOT strength was nice while it lasted.

It wasn’t very strong in pve to begin with

I would be mighty interested to know these better options, I am using Plaguebreak so please feel free to suggest an alternative or two.

Works better than you think paired with Spriggans and Balorgh's.
Clearing all vet content no problem on one of my stamblades.
Surprised me actually, probably why they are nerfing the damage no battle spirit to reduce it in PvE.
Wasn't that great in PvP.

You’d be better off with actual sets not a PVP build

✭✭✭✭✭Works just fine for me on that character soloing vet content even if I have to work harder at it which is good.
No way do I claim it is the best but 6K WD 12k pen achieved by means other than just the sets in the right hands is usable.
It isn't like you need a lot of resistance if you are not a tank in PvE, you just block and roll, the NPCs telegraph big time.
Then again I am old school Hunding's , Spriggan's , Bloodspawn guy.
In any event it is fun to try other than meta some times.0
