Battlegrounds chat woes continue [PS4]

I wondered if it was just a "fluke", and tried again a few times today. No, no fluke. Again, I can hear an opposing team's chatter, but cannot hear my own team. Enabling microphone does not let me communicate with the team I'm hearing, communication is strictly one way.
This obviously is unintended, it had worked fine in the past. It makes it impossible to coordinate with my own team.
