Dungeon/dolmen bosses dropping mostly companion weapons but no armour

As the title says.

I've only recently got a companion (< 2 weeks ago) and have been farming for companion gear in the dolmens of Eastmarch (my current questing zone) and The Hall of the Dead dungeon, but the companion gear I've been getting is almost all weapons and almost no armour. I've managed to equip my companion with a waist armour piece and 1 ring, but the rest is the basic white quality items.

Any tips on picking up more companion armour?

It just seems to be random. I grind anchors to level skills often, and get blue armor somewhat frequently; maybe a piece every 30 minutes.
