Please disable the menu from popping up in dungeons!

Hi

I wish there was a way to disable the menu when we are fighting in a dungeon. Nothing is more annoying when you are fighting and up pops your menu.. i know im not the only one that this happens to

Would love to have an option to toggle off the menu when in dungeons.

I have that same issue on Xbox x/s every now and then. It looks like a help menu to tell you what's what when you put crosshairs on it. I still have not figured out what triggers it? To get it to stop I have to do a UI reset.

I am not sure, but it sounds like the Tutorial popups are turned on. I think it is is the Gameplay menu toward the bottom.

On the PC platform, use the addon, In Combat Menu Block, to disable menus during combat. It's just what you're looking for.

It's on the PS4 console and it happens when trying to resurrect someone then instead of doing that, you get your menu and it takes what seems to be forever before being able to close or die trying.

And an ideal solution is to have the menu as the short on the share play button leaving the long press as the share play as intended. Then there would be no menu getting in the way of resurrecting.

Exactly. So frustrating and it happens more often than you think.

Because you use the Options button for both? I haven’t found it to be an big issue.

I don’t think I would want all that moved to the Share button, it would be a greater inconvenience.

Nah we need yo be able to access menu while in dungeons but what I'd love to see given they have revive on same button as menu for consoles & doesn't work half the time is that while in combat menu should be disabled. Cant count how many times I try to revive someone in a trial for lag or whatever to instead of starting the revive I end up in a damn menu

I just wish they would make player corpses easier to interact with. I hate the shuffle dance I have to do over a friend's body to find the prompt and have it STAY long enough to interact with. That's when I tend to get the menu popping up.

Or the "where the heck are you?" hunt in the fireworks display on some bosses.

It might be the "group" menu that pops up every now and then in the gamepad UI. I play on PC in gamepad mode and this will happen if I exit the group menu while role or difficulty is selected. I have no idea why this fixes it, but if I scroll to the bottom of the group menu and then back out of the menu, it won't pop up randomly. This happened for a good year or so and still does when I forget, but I just got in the habit of scrolling down before exiting the group menu after changing my role or dungeon difficulty.

Oftentimes in Cyrodiil I see bodies and just hit Options button in different places until I see the revive option finally pop up.

I agree it is not optimal but you often don’t get a prompt otherwise.

I had this problem with the 'C' key opens Character's Menu when I was dodging. All it took me was rebind it to something like ALT+C and I never had any other problems
