Launcher issues

Can anyone 'splain to me why, about half the time, I have to go into Windows Task Manager to shut down the launcher when I quit the game? This because it locks up and can't be closed normally. It's usually preceded on exit with a screen grab from before it exits to desktop from a few minutes prior to quitting the game..

Been like this for me since about when Greymoor released, doesn't matter which PC I use, the launcher just stinks at closing properly.
