I'd like to talk about Icy Conjurer with Swarm or Fetcher Infection

Is there something quirky about this?

I made a build based on this combination (I make fun, off meta builds generally) the problem is the proc is .... RATHER difficult to see, I have seen it, so I know for a fact it does work, sometimes, but it's very subtle and as such easy to miss which is why I am looking for second opinions. Something seems inconsistent about the proc, like, sometimes it seems to work and sometimes it doesn't (yes I am keeping an eye on the 10 seconds cooldown)

I have tried this on the training dummy and because it's so hard to see the proc, I just can't tell if I am imagining it, or if sometimes it simply does nothing... As in, it doesn't work.

Anyway, that's it.

If anyone can confirm this I should submit a bug report because it's a fun combo but I need to be sure it's working at least! (off meta already gives up a lot of DPS, don't wanna suffer even more!!)

You should test it out on a target dummy. I remember there used to be a bug where icy conjuror didn't proc off fetcher's minor vulnerability. The times you see it might be proccing off something else, maybe elemental status effects from your glyph.
Test it without a glyph on your weapon and only using fetcher, I have no idea if that bug was fixed. In pvp, we always used to use ele drain's minor magic steal instead. Worked very well.

This is some great info, I mean, I'm calling it now, if this is a bug which has been left for ALL this time, I will be steaming. As I worked hard, spent time and tramsmute, gold etc, to get this stuff and make this build.

Bugs happen, but I would be making a fuss if this has been ignored, because I have read about it, but it was so long ago I dimissed it as a potential cause.

They should make the darn wriggly ice wraith easier to see too!

the dmg from the set felt bizzarely low. maybe it is actually bugged.

Man that would be depressing, off meta is hard enough as it is! - There IS a visal proc but it's so hard to see.

i tried it on pts with frostden. it parsed a lot worse than iceheart.

Yeah when swapping sets around to accomodate for different piece amounts, there was around like a 10k difference in dps between icy conj and iceheart give or take some. I was expecting for icy conjuror to be more similar to Relequen in terms of dps but it was far far worse than that.
