Passwords and Computers

I have 2 computers I play on. Both with static ip's and connected to the same router with a static ip connected to the internet. Every time I switch from one to the other I have to reset my password. Is this a common issue? Any way to use both machines without doing a password reset? Really annoying, I have so many passwords logged now I don't remember which is which. Tried to submit a query to support and they want the original activation code which I don't have, all I had was an email with a link to activate so the ticket won't process.

i remember something about making trusted PC - next to the password there is something like house and locker icons - at mines PC's - house icon (trusted) is active and it requires key through email only first time after reinstalling windows...

are you able to receive confirmation key through email?.... some email providers flag this email as spam and it is never received; gmail, yahoo, outlook work fine...

even without having what is required try to explain in details to support what is happening.

That's odd that you have that issue. I log on sometimes at work and sometimes at home, both very different IPs and even service providers - yet I only need to verify about twice a year.

If I log on to my email which is on a 3rd device to change the password, I will have to reset it again on the computer I want to play on. I have to log in to my email in a browser on the machine I want to use to verify my account.

As multiboxing is against TOS, I could see this being an easy to implement option that prevents it. Which if you were on a different network entirely, you wouldn't have the same issue, but two computers on the same network using the same account might trigger something like this.

They are never logged in at the same time. I even shutdown the computer that last logged in to eso before logging in. It worked once and then never again.

Strange, I use ESO on three different computers here at home and only had to enter the code once per computer. Which was the first time I logged on, on each computer. (and it asks for a code like once every year) Not really sure what your issue could be. Could be a background program that triggers ESO's safeguards, a different language OS, steam might detect a different computer, a VPN, or any number of issues. There should never be a reason to change your accountpassword though, at worst you simply shouldn't be able to log in due to a wrong password or not being able to receive the logincode.

How I set it up for myself: My ISP gives me a dynamic IP, and my router uses dynamic IP's internally. The router has it's own mac-address, and I am not using a VPN. My gamecliënts never remember my password, but only my accountname. And my account is also never logged in on multiple computers at once. ESO is installed in the standard folder on all three PC's, and I do not use steam. My internal network does not allow strangers or strange devices to use it, and is password secured. All three my computers have different computernames as well.

Hope this information helps you any.

PS: Multiboxers mostly use the same computer, so that can't be the issue.

    Edit:

Reading this, I suspect you may be following a phishing mail and are not resetting your password at all. But instead are inserting your password on a non-ESO website, giving it to potential hackers. Make sure to check the URL in the top bar. To prevent this, go to the main ESO website, bookmark it in your browser, and do everything from there. Not from any e-mail you might receive.
