My suggestions:
.....................................................................................................................
3) receive by ingame mail hireling items with one character, also if they are from other characters hirelings (right now I have to change all my characters to receive hireling items by ingame mail)
.....................................................................................................................

Please consider Number 3, it is very important for the in-game quality of life. It is very very uncomfortable to change all chars twice a day to get hireling items from mail. I have spent a total of 15 skill points for each of my character to receive these items by mail, but it's very difficult to get them.

I would like all the hirelings-items to arrive automatically in the mail, without having to log in each character every 12 hours in order to receive them. Having spent 15 skill points for each character to be able to receive these items, it is not fair that I should be enslaved to having to log in all the characters at certain times, not to mention that sometimes it is not possible due to maintenance or commitments, so the items are not withdrawn. I also point out that logging in and out of characters takes a very long time and a lot of patience

This problem is underestimated. Little is said about it, maybe too few are interested in Hireling? However, I feel the problem very much, I understand very well what you have said.
It is imperative that ZOS seeks to improve the quality of life in the game, and changing Hireling's system is just that. Unnecessarily switching all the characters one after the other to receive the Hireling emails clogs the system, especially if this is done every 12 hours.

Ideas for ESO Plus:
receive by ingame mail hireling items with one character, also if they are from other characters hirelings (right now I have to change all my characters to receive hireling items by ingame mail)

If you could have one wish in ESO...:
I would like all the hirelings-items to arrive automatically in the mail, without having to log in each character every 12 hours in order to receive them.

Please ZOS, give the right importance and consider this request, it would be a huge improvement for ESO gameplay and a stress reduction for servers!!

Since the skill points for hirelings are applied per character, it doesn't make sense for one character to receive everybody's materials.

I use Mail Companion LWC's setting had been interfering but changing it fixed the issue.

Personally I wish we could get ALL our mails just logging on one character, I waste so much time every day going through 2 accounts, the worst are days like this we have an event going on plus maintenance so I have to wait for hours then go through my chars for mail. It's needless stress on the logon servers coupled with the occasional crash to desktop while changing chars (always annoying)

Yes it makes a lot of sense, because of course a character can only receive the items to which all characters who have unlocked the relevant skill points are entitled. Obviously characters who have not unlocked these skill points will not contribute to receiving emails per account.
Clearly you have just one character, or you have a lot but you don't care about hireling items.
You can't imagine how annoying it is to have to change all the characters one after the other twice a day; moreover this thing, multiplied by all the players who do it, unnecessarily clogs the server with login-logout that could be easily avoided, to the advantage of all.

I agree. I should get ANY mail for my account regardless of which character I log in on. It’s not like each character is limited to using ONLY the specific materials they personally farmed. End of campaign awards should all come into my account mail addressed to any character that participated. After all, the rewards are useable by any character in my account.

I guess I assumed that most players who got hireling mail also did the crafting dailies as well on all those toons like I do.

Are there lots of players that just log in to get mail and nothing else?

The timing being a strict 12/24 instead of 10/20 or even 11/22 makes doing them with the dailies not viable if you want to maximize hirelings. If you have 3 levels but are ok with only getting one mail per day then yeah, that works, but if you want to get 2 per day it doesn't work unless you're dedicating your whole day to the game, because the time will shift too much. I doubt many players do 2 a day, because it requires logging in in the morning, doing a 10-30 minute rotation depending on number of characters and loading speed, and then doing it again exactly 12 hours later at night. Having them all be immediate on logging in once would still require dedicating every 12 hours to doing it, but at least wouldn't require the 1-2 minutes per character on top.

It does to me. I personally think that since I spent the skill points, those emails should show up every 12/24 hours regardless of whether I have logged ANY character in that day. If I go on vacation or take a few days off from ESO, I should still get the mails from the days I wasn't on... I paid for them with skill points. The only reason I even spent the points for 2x a day, was so I could insure I get them 1x a day. Otherwise with time creep you end up missing days fairly often due to the timing rolling into your work or sleep schedule.

Quite honestly, ALL the "timed" things in this game need a serious rework. Some are 20 hours, some are 12/24, some are after 5, some after 7, some after 10, some at midnight, some are Fridays at 5... It is quite insane the number of daily resets there are to keep track of, many of which you occasionally miss out on simply because of the way the timing is done.

...Last but not least.... materials go in a bag, common to the whole account, not in a character's inventory.
So they should be received just by one character for the entire account !

@ZOS_GinaBruno please do something for that, because it is very important:
    - for every single player, for the in game quality of life
    - for the whole server, because it will be less clogged if we don't have to log-in and log-out with many characters several times a day

I am going on a limb here as I will state watch what you wish for with game developers.

For instance, they could see this as a way to make it so only one character can have a hirelings to help reduce the stress on the server and that character will be marked/tagged as your crafter with no other character being able to have them.

See similar type of changes in games when players wanted X and Y was delivered.

You are too pessimistic and have too little faith in the developers :-)

I don't think you having to spend 2 minutes switching between toons to collect these is a problem whatsoever.

The problem I see with this is that each individual character has its own cooldown on hirelings that is reset after it triggers on each one. That's a lot of changes to have to make on the back end. Tbh maybe the best thing to do is remove hirelings entirely and move those rewards to buffer daily login rewards instead and free up the skill points for other uses.

I honestly didn't know until I saw this post that you could get hireling mail twice a day. I'll have to look into this next time I'm in the game.

I used to, but nowadays it takes me over 3 hours to log on 18 characters, open the mail (and feed my mount when it isn't maxed out, do daily crafting writs and clean up inventory afterwards, but those actions take far less time than logging in or logging out). After that, several random crashes included, there is no time left to play the game. And I have 3 accounts with 49 characters to maintain (I know, altoholic). It isn't fun anymore with these loading times so I only do this on Sundays, for 1 account.

But but my every character is a separate entity and enjoys working towards a goal! If im able to retrieve mail on my warden healer, it doesnt mean id be able to do it on dk tank, mails should never be accountwide!
