Companion Tank being ignored.

So today's dungeon being Red Petal Bastian, it's time to catch up with all my alts, getting their (new) daily dungeons done.
Me and my OH play as a duo, companions have been mostly useful, but not here. Bastian as a tank was being ignored, seemed like he wasn't able to taunt any of the bosses.
I know they can be tanked, because when a human tank is involved it's fine.
I think The Cauldron also has this problem, and a few others. Some bosses ignore Comp tank and just focuses on the humans. This is on normal mode.
We tend to use Bastian as a tank when we have 2 DPS, he can successfully tank most dungeons. Even Veteran.
