Skill Damage Scaling

Please ZOS just make skills scale of Magic AND Stamina. I love all the pro hybrid updates but this is the last big change needed to make hybrids able to compete with current meta builds.

This would allow people to use all skills and weapons effectively and still lose damage if you put attribute points into health. It opens up so many cool and fun builds while also keeping them viable at end game.

I feel like this is going to come but ZOS is just beating around the bush.

Side note, also make all heavy attacks restore magic and stam please.

    Also if the do this the only reasonable change would be to also make dodge roll block and sprint cost also magicka, and give ice staff passive something else.

    why? choice makes things interesting, homogenization dumbs the game down. Its ok not to have everything you can see. Go down this road and at then end you have an 'attack' stat and a 'defend' stat you saw in simplistic games in the 80s. (i.e its not 'hybrid' anymore)

    I'm all for the set changes, but this would be taking it too far. Resource/Regen being left out of the equation is enough to make choice matter. If you want to play a hybrid, you can, as a hybrid you have 2 pools to use so a lower pool isn't as big of a deal as it is for a pure build.

    Stack damage/crit/penetration as high as you can to get the most out of your skills.

    A true hybrid build can't be a jack of all trades AND master of none all.

    Another day, another post for me to ask for merged offensive stats. :smile:

    I agree that the hyrbid changes are cool, I just wish they'd go all in on it. Though frankly, I also wish they'd just remove resource restore from heavy attacks. It remains one of the biggest deterrents for magicka melee builds,

    Don't see how it would dumb anything down. There will be so many more build options to mess with. As of right now, for pve, you just dump all attribute points into one or the other and call it a day. If you could use both mag and stam you would need to balance both for your build plus their regens.

    Having a lower pool lowers your damage, so not sure why you think it wouldn’t be a big deal. You would have to also still manage both regens.

    How would it unbalance PVP? Also why do you think dodge roll, block and sprint would have to change? If all abilities scaled off both stats then, as a magicka main, just put a few points into stam.
