Game is a waste of time and money

This game has lost its appeal to be honest. The release of content is literally ground hog day, the 4 man content is stale and repetitive. The trials are basic and boring. The PVP is unbalanced and silly and the community is as toxic as WOW

Tbh i started playimg gw2. It is super fun and quite alot of fresh wind opposed to the quite stale combat of eso at this point

I hope they'll stop with their current annual strategy and do more in-depth updates. We don't need that many dungeons, we need places we wanna go back to.

I mean its entirely possible to spend no money on this game beyond its initial purchase price and they have included two DLCs for free, Imperial City and Murkmire. Base game does include a pretty big chunk of content on its own. You can do other DLC content during the ESO Plus Trial weeks, you just have to power through them which can get 2-3 done in that time. If you have a decent source of gold and a trusted player source then crown gifting becomes another avenue of somewhat "free" acquisition at least not out of your own pockets.

Thank you so much for sharing your opinion. Really glad to get your input.

I disagree with much of what you say. I find the game still delights me, after all this time, and I find I get value for the money I spend on it. Have also met some lovely people playing.

Other games exist. It's okay to take a break and return when new content offers you something you find more interesting

I bounce off to other MMOs and single player games from time to time. SWTOR for the amazing class stories for a month or two, Assassin's Creed because it gives me huge open historical worlds to explore, Skyrim because it's Skyrim and I'll always Skyrim up for my Skyrim fix every Skyrim or two. Find what works for you!

The galaxy brain take is realizing that ESO is best enjoyed as a single/two player experience, and the MMO-ey content is simply optional.

Judging from the open beta's treams, it has plenty of flaws, the lore is not nearly as compelling as TES', it's grindy, a ton of quests are repetitive, there are major lag issues in large battles. But I still preordered it after the 7.2 stream and patch notes.
Granted, I'm not dumping ESO, but given how Blackwood turned out to be - an area as vast as it is barren and empty, reminds me of Cyro but PvE, with the most uninteresting incursion ever - it'll stay on maintenance mode for the foreseeable future.

Did u described eso in 2014? Cause everything is the same.
