*sigh* another disappointment on that front. It's almost like ZOS doesn't care how many people are begging for hairstyles, it's not like we ever get them. I notice this even seems light on the costume front as well. But at least there are 18 mounts, evidently nobody playing this game cares about making their character look good so long as they can ride a fancy mount.
At least those Nordic weapons look amazing, but knowing my luck they'll just end up lost in datamine limbo. Haven't really seen anything else that makes me excited though. Hope ZOS has a few tricks still up their sleeve, because the last few datamines have done very little to inspire me to pull out my wallet.
Thanks for the datamine though. Always good to see, even if it's just to get a bit disappointed now rather than later.9 -

Veteran players have been alienated and disengaged from Overland since One Tamriel, due to the lack of difficulty, and pushed into dungeons and trials; the minority of content in the Elder Scrolls Online. We can't take the repetition anymore, fix Overland engagement for Vet players. I don't even care if it's not combat related anymore, just make Overland engaging again.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 10 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. Make a self debuff mythic. Literally anything at this point.2 -

That would never happen, however if they are doing stuff in the files where, they are listing stuff like that. Then that confirms next year we might see the Maormer being made a playable race. As it could be a code name, if its in the files. The Maormer have a bunch of world building stuff, ESO has been able to do with them in a way. Which means that they can add them in as a playable race. Its the only race that Zenimax I think can truely explore into. The other unrealistic realistic possibility is the Tsaeci, and Bethesda won't allow Zenimax to do much in the way for them even though in this time period they should still be plenty around. In fact they would be more common then the Maormer from a lore prospective.
So given the stance when it comes to the Tsaeci, Zenimax can't do them as a playable race. Meaning the only realistic new playable race they can do is the Maormer. So I expect the Maormer to be the new race if we ever get one. Its the only realistic possibility of all the others.PC NA

Why would we get a Xivilai race, but not a Dremora race? We'd probably have to have another race to make it even with the Imperials. Imperial-Dremora-Xivilai? Or Imperial-Dremora-Maomer? Or even Imperial-Xivilai Maomer?
