Hireling Mail attachments

I have several characters that I logon to each day for hireling mail, I've been noticing recently that the attachments are all being removed before I even get to the mail. I thought maybe my mail addon was doing this so I uninstalled that yet the issue persists.

Talking to guild members I found others with the same issue but they've also said that items they bought via traders came and were not auto removed from their mail, that this was only happening with Hireling mails.

Is this suppose to be a new "feature" or bug?

(btw really wish we only had to logon to one char and get all our mails...)

Dolgubon's Lazy Writ crafter settings .. for some reason it got set to retrieve mails automatically, go into the settings and change to what behaviour you want for hireling mails.

It is reliable at collecting the hirling mail, does not lose anything? I seem to spend half my play time collecting hirling mail for 26 characters.

I use Mail Companion LWC's setting had been interfering but changing it fixed the issue.

Personally I wish we could get ALL our mails just logging on one character, I waste so much time every day going through 2 accounts, the worst are days like this we have an event going on plus maintenance so I have to wait for hours then go through my chars for mail. It's needless stress on the logon servers coupled with the occasional crash to desktop while changing chars (always annoying)

This problem is underestimated. Little is said about it, maybe too few are interested in Hireling? However, I feel the problem very much, I understand very well what you have said.
It is imperative that ZOS seeks to improve the quality of life in the game, and changing Hireling's system is just that. Unnecessarily switching all the characters one after the other to receive the Hireling emails clogs the system, especially if this is done every 12 hours.

DLWC addon works well, however the default setting for some reason is to loot the mats but keep the mail, which is confusing and not even 100% reliable (some mats may be left on the mail). I've changed the setting to loot+delete the mail, which works like a charm and a nice time saver.

I've read all the hireling mails several time, so deletion is great for me. If someone did not read them yet, I advise to get the mails manually and read them all
