Alchemy Writ vs. Solvent Proficiency

I have just reached Level 49 Alchemy and have upgraded my Solvent Proficiency to 7 out of a possible 8. Harvesting alchemy solvents yields me Night Oil & Star Dew - levels CP 100 - 140.
When I go to the crafter's writ board and take alchemy writs, however, it asks for level 6 potions/poisons, requiring Cloud Mist and Tar Black.
The writs are supposed to issued at your level of skill, but Alchemy is out of whack at this tier.

RawBrightSilver✭✭✭And, before anyone asks, I have tried cancelling the writ and obtaining a new one to see if it would fix itself according to my Alchemy level.
This is only one of my toons. One of my other 6 is a Grand Master Crafter and has gone through the hard yards of working all the way through each level of proficiency, so I know how this should roll.0 -

✭✭✭✭Yes, it’s been like this for ages. Tier VI mats are requested for both passive levels 6 and 7. There is no Tier VII writ quest. At maxed passive level (8), you will get a so-called Tier VII reward box that actually contains Tier VIII rewards.0
