Dear ZOS: Skill “Profiles” please? (like saving Costumes)

Could we get the ability to Save skill layouts to profiles/slots, just like how we can save costumes to a slot?

When I roam overland I have certain skills that I equip.

When I go to fight a WB or go into a dungeon, I equip around 6 different skills.

Sometimes I need to switch like 6 skills quickly. Example: when overlanding, while waiting to queue for a dungeon then getting added to said queue, and having to go through the process of changing skills.

Or when overlanding and running into a WB to maybe help another player I need to switch my entire skill layout pretty much.

I can’t be the only one that does this (or am I? lol)

If you are on pc, try Dressing Room or Alpha Gear

A system like this would be a good start, though I would also like to be able to change every other aspect of my build per character, attributes, gear, Mundus stone, etc.

I feel the reason that this is not implemented is that it would resuit in many players making less characters. There would be an expense for the creation of such a system, and it likely lead to a loss of revenue, also less play time per account.

You can change attributes pretty fast via a shrine, and mundus stones are often available in guilds.. but yes, those are things that should not be changed just like that

Never understood why this wasn't in base game. PC users can have the Dressing Room addon which allows for it, and that hasn't stopped me from using all my character slots. There are some other MMOs I am aware of that have this feature built in and it works for them. In one I have played, you could unlock all possible skills (for that toon's class) on one character and have 3 free slots per toon that you could save builds to and swap out on the fly, and if you wanted to you could purchase more build slots. Class skills also change based on the weapon you had equipped.. it was neat. Anyway, like I said, we PC users can use addons for this stuff but I'd love for console users to have access to similar things in the base game.

Yup I’m on console. And there are worse things in life to moan about but 2 simple Loadout profiles would be nice for us non-keyboard mouse users because it takes a bit of time to swap skills.

Yup I’m on console. And there are worse things in life to moan about but 2 simple Loadout profiles would be nice for us non-keyboard mouse users because it takes a bit of time to swap skills.

It wouldn't just be nice, I really feel it's a hassle to switch from pvp to pve roles on one character. I hope this comes sooner rather than later.

For just a 2k crowns/spec slot/per character ! But for costume slot you also have to add a costume slot that selling in crownstore just for 1,5k crowns YAY !

Just throwing in my support to this thread. I've posted in the past requesting dual spec loadout. Us console jockeys need some love!

For some reason I only discovered the dressing room addon recently and it's amazing.

It saves so much time and hassle when added up in the end, and I noticed it makes me engage with the game more broadly, like quickly doing a pvp match, since it's just 3 buttons to switch your setup.

Definitely should be implemented as a game feature so that console players can also enjoy it.
