Intractability lost on Guild Reprints placed in houses. Despite green outline.

Had some guild reprints placed on shelves in a house. Previously I could interact with them without issue. I have not moved them and all of them show a green outline like they should be interactable when placed. However I can't interact with them anymore and can't even select them without moving every other object extremely far away from them. Far meaning, nothing can be even touching its hitbox.

As an example
Guild reprints placed like this:

could be interacted with before but now cannot.

I'm not sure when the bug came about precisely. But i've tried relogging, switching characters, reloading the UI and moving objects. The only solution which works is moving them extremely far away from everything else. Even though they worked before like this and the green outline when they are placed suggests I should be able to see the interaction prompt.

From what I understand, when they implemented the interaction priority system to prevent combat pets and companions from blocking interactable and lootable objects, It caused a problem with housing when people would block off doors with objects to limit access to areas of their houses. The priority system allowed people to use the doors despite being blocked off. A fix was put in place to prevent the interaction of objects that are blocked by other furnishings. Since the books are technically "inside" the bookcase, the interaction is disabled. There is kind of like an invisible wall on the front of the bookcase, blocking interaction. Like when you buy something and it's in a box with a clear plastic window on the front. You can see what's inside but you can't touch it unless you take it out of the box.

Ah rip... that's no fun! In which case they should probably fix the green outlines when you place objects... or maybe change the way the bookcase collision works so it doesn't block shelves. I guess I'll just wait to see if anything changes. Kinda makes shelves pointless if we can't put all these lovely lorebooks on them!

I hear ya! I have all the lore books on display in 1 house, laid out by box set across about 40 tables. LOL
