Still no fix for brightness issue xbox series x

Just updated with update 31, checked brightness issue which we all reported months ago. Still no fix, much too dark and brightness resets everytime I start a game. Please could someone update me on when this is likely to be fixed?

We added a new HDR mode with today's update, which you can find under the Video Options panel. Have you tried that option to see if enabling or disabling it helps?

Just been back into game there is no video option with hdr. Just display (performance/fidelity), adjust brightness, adjust screen, use custom scale. I use performance because I only run at 1080p. But there is no hdr mode unless I'm looking in the wrong place, I am using video options in game. Thanks

The problem affects the SDR mode brightness setting. On non-HDR capable displays, there are no HDR options available.

I don't have HDR enabled, but my brightness is still consistently reset. I'd prefer that the problem actually get patched rather than a bandaid get slapped on it. It's getting ludicrous at this point.

Still resetting on my series s and x this should of been fixed long ago.....
