Interaction priority in “the Coven Conundrum” prologue quest

In the Coven Conundrum, there is a point where you have to search for a secret door in the basement of the Grinning Horker.

Due to the change in interaction priority, the secret door will be shown when you get close to the cupboard it is in - but you cannot interact with it because the cupboard has to be checked first. I couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t let me go through until I tried a lot of different angles and finally found one where the cupboard itself could be interacted with. It was only after that that I could open the not-so-secret-anymore door.

I just encountered this exact situation. Unfortunately I have yet to find the correct interaction angle for the cupboard. I'm considering just abandoning this prologue quest entirely. I hope this issue can be resolved soon.

I managed to get past the hard-to-interact-with cupboard. After progressing further along in the quest, I came upon another related problem. In the "Coven Conundrum" sub objective, "Enter the Palace of Kings" - the palace door presents the same exact interaction issue as the cupboard.
